In this session I was focusing on give the audience an overview about Windows Azure Platform, the cloud computing platform from Microsoft, and talking about the benefits of cloud computing and highlights for the main products and technologies in Azure platform like Windows Azure OS, SQL Azure and AppFabric, and start talking about how we can build and deploy cloud applications using windows Azure OS and SQL Azure and AppFabric.
In addition we announce Azure User group in Jordan, Jordan Azure User Group (JZUG), one of the first user groups in the middle east that focusing on cloud computing and windows Azure Platform.
Special thanks for my friend Mohammad Arrabi from Microsoft for his support to launch the user group and for his opening session in the event talking about cloud computing. It was successful!
